Seriously. There's nothing quite like complete and total disappointment. I HATE...let me repeat that for you folks in the back... I HATE cliffhangers.
They are expected in tv shows and occasionally movies. However, I want an ending. A REAL effing ending. Seriously? I read 50 Shades of Grey today, everyone has been talking about it, it was on the Today show. I mean it seemed right up my alley.
Truth? The verbiage gets annoying. The writer clearly has an idea about what it feels like to be in that type of situation. However, it stops there. I am going to say it here. There is NOONE and I do mean NOONE like Nora Roberts.
I am never disappointed in her words. Yes, it's true that sometimes I'm not completely in love with her words, but the reality here is that she has a genius with words that many published authors in today's world do not.
So, right now I'm saying THANK YOU Ms. Roberts, for the years and years of happy reading, happy endings and thrilling stories. You are and most likely always will be my favorite author.
