Well, as gentle as this thing says it is. I'm here to tell you that my butthole hurts like a sonofabitch!!!!
I've been going to the bathroom pretty much nonstop! I am praying that this pain goes away and I just start feeling better and losing weight.
Or at least I am hoping that the cleanse is doing its job and getting all the nastiness out of my system!
That totally sucks! But of course it hurt you! You were taking a laxative pill. Laxatives (even a natural and supposedly "gentle" one like aloe) are ONLY meant to be used in extreme cases of constipation for short periods of time. Ask a doctor.
ReplyDelete"Due to its strong effects on the body, Aloe Vera laxatives should be taken sparingly. The U.S. National Library of Medicine claims that 'long-term use of large amounts of Aloe latex might cause diarrhea, kidney problems, blood in the urine, low potassium, muscle weakness, weight loss, and heart disturbances.'
Abdominal pains and stomach cramping are among the more common negative effects of Aloe laxatives."
News flash: This company is clearly a scam. They took a bunch of pre-packaged vitamin supplements and protein and fiber mixes, slapped their own brand labels on them and put them together as a "cleanse program." You got ripped off. Where did you find them? Some deal site? You've got to be careful about those...
Weight Watchers and exercise did wonders for me. I got stuck at a plateau, so I talked to my doctor. He suggested I make some dietary changes (cut out gluten for a while, cut down on sugars, alcohol, etc). If that doesn't work ask for blood testing. You could have some sort of health issue and be fighting an uphill battle that not even proper diet and exercise can fix, you know?
If you're looking for a healthy and safe cleanse try doing a raw vegan diet for 3-6 days. Healthy Bitch Daily and Alicia Silverstone both have GREAT websites with some great tips for getting healthy.
Best of luck with your weight loss journey!
